Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who: Are passionate about empowering children with autism. Exhibit patience, compassion, and teamwork skills. Are at least 18 years old. Have a high school diploma or GED. Can obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and undergo a Tuberculosis test if needed. Can pass a pre-employment background check. Are physically able to perform various movements (sit, squat, bend, etc.). Can lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Will obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding.

In this rewarding position, you will work closely with children, applying tailored behavior intervention plans under the mentorship of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Utilizing evidence-based methods, you will teach essential communication, social, and daily living skills while helping to diminish challenging behaviors. We seek individuals who are not only dedicated to supporting children with autism but also possess the patience and compassion required to thrive in a collaborative team setting.

Don’t worry if you lack experience; we provide extensive training to ensure you are fully prepared to make a difference. Keep in mind that the role requires physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, and occasionally lifting or carrying objects and children weighing up to 50 pounds. The unpredictable nature of working with children requires resilience and a positive spirit.
