Qualifications

Strong passion for supporting children with autism. Ability to be patient, compassionate, and work collaboratively within a team. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications, as well as a Tuberculosis test if not completed within the last year. Successful completion of a pre-employment background check is necessary. Must have the capability to perform various physical activities (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.). Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

In this rewarding position, you'll work one-on-one with children, following tailored behavior intervention plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include employing evidence-based strategies to enhance communication, social skills, and daily living abilities while minimizing challenging behaviors. We seek individuals who are dedicated to helping children achieve their fullest potential.

Ideal candidates will exhibit patience, empathy, and a collaborative spirit. Comprehensive training will be provided, ensuring you feel prepared and confident to support each child, regardless of prior experience. Please note that the role requires physical stamina as children can be unpredictable; you should be comfortable with various movements including standing, walking, sitting, bending, lifting, and carrying objects or children weighing up to 50 pounds.
