We're looking for compassionate individuals who have a passion for helping others. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively. A background in psychology, social work, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a plus.

About the job

Centria Autism seeks a Behavior Technician in Beaverton, Oregon. This position plays a key part in supporting children with autism and their families, working closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to deliver personalized care.

Role overview

As a Behavior Technician, the focus is on helping children with autism achieve their developmental and behavioral goals. The work centers around following structured intervention plans created by a BCBA and being an active member of a collaborative team.

What you will do

  • Work one-on-one with children with autism to support their progress
  • Carry out individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA
  • Track and document data related to each child's progress and behaviors
  • Work alongside families and other care professionals as part of an integrated team
