About the job
Join our dedicated team at Centria Autism as a Behavior Technician and help make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with autism. In this rewarding role, you will engage one-on-one with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will employ evidence-based strategies to teach essential skills, including communication, social interaction, and daily living, while minimizing challenging behaviors.
We seek passionate individuals who are committed to helping children realize their full potential. Ideal candidates will exhibit patience, compassion, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment. Extensive training will be provided, ensuring you are well-prepared to assist each child, regardless of prior experience.
This role requires physical stamina as you will be active, standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting or carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The joy of working with children comes with physical activity, so a good level of fitness is essential.
At the end of each day, you will leave knowing that your efforts have positively impacted the lives of children and their families. Join us at Centria Autism and start your journey as a Behavior Technician today!
