Requirements:Genuine passion for supporting children with autism. Demonstrated patience, kindness, and teamwork capability. Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma or GED required. Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification, along with a Tuberculosis test within the last year. Successful completion of a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.). Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Join our passionate team at Centria Autism as a Behavior Technician! In this rewarding role, you will directly impact the lives of children with autism by implementing personalized behavior intervention plans, under the expert guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your primary responsibility will involve working one-on-one with children, utilizing evidence-based techniques to foster essential communication, social, and daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors.

We seek individuals who are dedicated to helping children with autism achieve their fullest potential. Ideal candidates should possess patience, compassion, and a strong ability to collaborate within a team setting. Comprehensive training will be provided, ensuring you are fully equipped to support each child effectively, even if you lack prior experience. The role can be physically demanding as children may be unpredictable; therefore, you should be prepared to engage in physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, and lifting children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
