Qualifications

Genuine passion for working with children with autism. Patience, empathy, and the ability to thrive in a team setting. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED required. Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification, along with a tuberculosis test (if applicable). Ability to pass a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to perform various movements (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.). Able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. Registered Behavior Technician Certification is required post-onboarding.

Join our passionate team as a Behavior Technician and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with autism. This fulfilling position allows you to work one-on-one with children, implementing customized behavior intervention plans guided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will employ evidence-based techniques to foster communication, social skills, and daily living skills while minimizing disruptive behaviors.

We seek candidates who are dedicated to helping children with autism achieve their fullest potential. Ideal team members will demonstrate patience, compassion, and a collaborative spirit. Our comprehensive training program equips you with the necessary skills to excel in this role, even if you lack prior experience. Please note that this role requires physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, squatting, lifting, and occasionally carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
