To excel in this role, candidates should: Demonstrate a strong passion for helping children with autism. Exhibit patience, compassion, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Be at least 18 years of age. Possess a high school diploma or GED. Be capable of obtaining CPR and First Aid certifications, as well as passing a tuberculosis test if needed. Successfully complete a pre-employment background check. Exhibit the physical capability to perform various movements, including sitting, squatting, and bending. Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing the onboarding process.

In this fulfilling position, you will engage one-on-one with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Utilize evidence-based strategies to foster communication, social skills, and daily living abilities while effectively minimizing challenging behaviors.

We seek individuals who are not only enthusiastic about supporting children with autism but are also patient, compassionate, and thrive in a collaborative team environment. Comprehensive training will be offered to empower you in your role, regardless of your prior experience. Please note that the nature of this work may involve physical activity, including standing, walking, and occasionally lifting or carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
