To excel in this position, candidates must be:Passionate about supporting children with autism in achieving their fullest potential. Patient and compassionate, with strong teamwork skills. At least 18 years of age. Possessing a high school diploma or GED. Able to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and a Tuberculosis test (if not completed within the past year). Able to pass a pre-employment background check. Capable of moving in various positions (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.). Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Willing to obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Join our passionate team at Centria Autism as a Behavior Technician, where you can truly impact the lives of children with autism. In this role, you will work closely with children, applying tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will implement evidence-based strategies aimed at enhancing their communication, social, and daily living skills while simultaneously addressing challenging behaviors.

We seek dedicated individuals who are enthusiastic about fostering the growth of children with autism. It is essential that you exhibit patience, compassion, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills, regardless of your prior experience. This position requires physical activity as you will be engaging with children, which may involve standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, and lifting or carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.
