Big Data Engineer with Java Expertise - USC/GC/GC EAD/TN

Preferred Qualifications:• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, proficient in technologies such as Java 1.5+, Spring 3.0 or later, Web Services (SOAP/REST), JSP, Servlet, Eclipse, HTML, and IBM WebSphere/JBoss Application Server, along with SQL.• Familiarity with Jira, Maven, and SOAP UI is advantageous.• At least 2 years of experience with Big Data technologies, including HDFS (MapR distribution), Map Reduce using Java, PIG, and Hive.• Required knowledge of data modeling in NoSQL HBase.• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Python development.• Background in Credit Risk or Fraud Analytics domains is preferred.• At least 2 years of experience in a Global Delivery model (onsite-offshore model).• Expertise in SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile (preferred).• Demonstrated experience in project lifecycle activities related to development and maintenance.• Strong understanding of build and configuration management processes.• Technical aptitude and familiarity with software development tools and techniques.• Ability to collaborate effectively with offshore teams.• High analytical capability and effective communication skills with stakeholders.• Skills in requirements analysis, estimation, development, and code review activities.• Capacity to prioritize and execute tasks with a focus on quality and timely completion.• Experience in the credit card and payments domain is a plus.• A desire to work in a Global Delivery environment.
