Qualifications

Required Qualifications:College degree in a relevant field.3-5 years of experience in a technical role; prior experience as a Technical Lead is advantageous. Minimum of 1 year of experience in areas such as Vulnerability Management, Network Security, Endpoint Security, or Cybersecurity Governance and Risk Management. Strong knowledge of Endpoint Security practices. Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English. Experience in client interactions and managing supplier relationships. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

About the job

As a Bilingual Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our systems and data. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and antivirus solutions, to swiftly identify and respond to security breaches or anomalies.
  • Promptly addressing security incidents by investigating breaches, documenting findings, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conducting thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration tests while recommending enhancements to our security posture.
  • Developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and best practices to align with industry standards.
  • Analyzing cybersecurity threats and trends to proactively mitigate risks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and compliance, to ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place.
  • Documenting security incidents and investigations, generating detailed reports for management and regulatory compliance.
  • Staying informed about the latest cybersecurity technologies and threats through ongoing education.
  • Leading compliance initiatives based on global and local security standards.
  • Supporting our Japan affiliates in deploying new security tools and maintaining existing solutions.
  • Identifying customer and product needs while proactively resolving issues.
  • Collaborating with the team to identify process improvement opportunities and implementing necessary changes.
  • Engaging in regular communication and assisting in root cause analysis and Kaizen implementation.
  • Providing support for special security projects on an ad-hoc basis.
