Establish and manage automatic bindery machines comprising various functions and capabilities (such as power paper cutters, collators, gatherers, folders, and speed binders) which integrate electromechanically with other equipment to form a comprehensive bindery and finishing unit that transforms printed sheets into final products like books, catalogs, manuals, directories, and magazines.
Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify and mitigate safety risks.
Operate automatic adhesive binding machines (perfect binders) equipped with a series of interconnected processing stations that handle collated sheets or signatures, performing tasks such as vibrating, milling, roughening, gluing, covering, and delivering or stacking finished books, magazines, or catalogs.
Make necessary adjustments to synchronize the various workstations on a single machine effectively.
