Our team excels in delivering innovative and cost-effective protective design solutions for a variety of sectors, such as high-rise buildings, petrochemical facilities, aviation, defense, and transportation. We focus on structural hardening to enhance the resilience of both individuals and structures against accidental or intentional blast and impact events, seamlessly integrating these solutions into design while maintaining cost-effectiveness and aesthetic appeal.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership & Design: Provide expert input on blast and protection engineering. Lead the design of protective measures, including computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling of effects on structures and complex structural analysis.
- Project Delivery: Manage the production and workload of blast-related projects. Develop work plans, define tasks, and ensure technical quality management.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients to identify their objectives and challenges, developing effective solutions. Engage with sector leads within our Building & Places Business unit and coordinate with general Building Engineering teams.
- Business Development: Participate in initiatives aimed at business expansion, including sales activities.
- Risk & Threat Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of threats and vulnerabilities to ascertain risk levels and formulate appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Documentation & Reporting: Create high-quality documentation such as employer requirements, specifications, feasibility studies, and design concepts.
- Project Management: Oversee projects on behalf of clients, including progress updates and contract administration when necessary.
- Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Advocate for best practices in Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E) and share knowledge within the team.
