Our specialized team delivers practical and economical protective design solutions across various sectors, including high-rise buildings, petrochemical plants, aviation, defense, and transport infrastructure. We are leaders in structural hardening, enhancing the resilience of people and structures against accidental or deliberate blast and impact scenarios, seamlessly integrating these solutions into architectural designs while maintaining cost-effectiveness and aesthetic appeal.
Your Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership & Design: Provide specialized technical insight on blast and protection engineering. Spearhead the design of blast protection measures, employing CFD modeling to analyze impacts on building structures and conducting complex structural analyses.
- Project Delivery: Manage the production and workload for blast-related projects. Develop work plans, assign tasks, and ensure quality control and technical assurance.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and challenges, and develop effective solutions. Coordinate with sector leaders within our Building & Places Business unit and work alongside our general Building Engineering teams.
- Business Development: Participate in business development efforts, including sales initiatives and securing new projects.
- Risk & Threat Assessment: Conduct in-depth evaluations of threats, assessing likelihood and consequences to determine risk severity and appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Documentation & Reporting: Generate high-quality documentation, including employer’s requirements, specifications, feasibility studies, and concept/scheme designs.
- Project Management: Oversee project management for clients, including progress tracking and contract administration as needed.
- Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Advocate for best practices in Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E) and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.
