Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is preferred. Possess an active PE License in Texas or the ability to secure one within one year of hire. TXDOT Prequalifications:Bridge DesignMulti-Level Interchange DesignBridge Class Culvert, Non-Bridge Class Culvert, and Inlet DesignA minimum of 10 years of experience in bridge design is preferred. Willingness to travel 10-15% to client sites. Familiarity with TXDOT Project Development Process, construction documentation and administration, as well as municipal design processes, is advantageous. TXDOT precertifications in bridge design/development are preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D is preferred. Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Overview

Woolpert is on the lookout for a skilled Bridge Project Manager to become a vital part of our expanding Transportation Team in Texas. In this role, you will spearhead the execution of projects for our Texas clients, guiding them from proposal through to detailed design. We are seeking self-motivated candidates with a robust technical background who can effectively lead project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams in developing preliminary engineering, detailed design, and quantification of transportation projects.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards as per the agreed scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage and support cross-functional teams, both internally and with clients.
  • Utilize existing relationships and forge new connections with clients and consultants to pursue new business opportunities.
  • Engage actively in professional societies and conferences through board participation and presentations.
