As a Business Controller specializing in Costing and Controlling, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and timely closure of financial books and reporting. This role involves performing variance analysis and effective cost control, along with managing forecasting, budgeting, and audit coordination with relevant stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in recommending strategic actions aimed at enhancing financial performance.
In this position, you will oversee cost centers and spearhead cost reduction initiatives by collaborating with relevant teams to ensure precise cost allocations from both the lead business and corporate departments. You will analyze departmental under/over recoveries to identify the root causes effectively.
Your responsibilities will include preparing comprehensive business plans and current forecasts, developing long-term strategic plans, calculating and maintaining departmental activity/hourly and overhead rates in SAP, and forecasting related party transactions for Board approval.
You will also monitor inventory levels, including stock and work-in-progress, to maintain optimum inventory levels, conduct physical stock takes and cycle counts, and coordinate asset verification processes for audits.
In addition, you will report business results and management information system (MIS) reports to the management for timely delivery of outcomes and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure the seamless completion of all audits, including Annual, Cost, Tax, and Internal audits.
