Are you ready to take charge of your territory and your earnings? We are seeking a dynamic B2B sales professional to propel growth at one of the UK’s most rapidly expanding tech companies.
Your Role:
At Focus Group, which boasts a valuation of £1 billion and a customer base exceeding 30,000 with over 1,000 employees, we are just getting started. As a Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of a designated territory, selling our comprehensive technology solutions (Telecoms, IT, Cyber Security, and Mobile) to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-market businesses. This role is more than just order-taking; it's about consultative selling and fostering enduring partnerships.
Earnings Potential:
- Base Salary: £30-40k + £400/month car allowance (dependent on experience)
- Year 1 OTE: £65-80k (realistic based on the current team's performance)
- Top earners achieve: £100k+ (with uncapped commission and monthly accelerators)
- No thresholds: You earn from the first deal!
What Success Looks Like:
This position entails true 360 sales ownership where you will manage the entire customer journey:
- Prospecting: Conduct market research in your territory, implement outbound campaigns (via cold calling, LinkedIn, email), and convert cold contacts into warm prospects.
- Consultative Selling: Lead discovery calls and face-to-face meetings, presenting tailored solutions to address genuine business challenges.
- Closing Deals: Navigate intricate B2B sales cycles, address objections, negotiate contracts, and secure deals through value creation.
- Account Growth: Cross-sell and upsell within your client portfolio, generate referrals, and cultivate long-term strategic partnerships.

- Has B2B sales experience particularly in complex solution selling.

- Can operate independently while being a collaborative team player.

- A proven track record of successfully opening new territories or markets.
- Experience in selling technology solutions to SMEs (20-500 employees).
