RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.2 to 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within the payments or fintech industries. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and successfully closing complex deals. Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities. Fluency in both English and Italian (written and spoken). Comprehensive knowledge of the Italian payments landscape and trends.

Your mission

In the role of Business Development Manager, your primary objective will be to spearhead Nuvei’s expansion within the Italian market by pinpointing, cultivating, and securing new business opportunities. You will utilize your expertise in the payments or fintech sectors to forge strong relationships with key stakeholders, negotiate strategic alliances, and deliver customized solutions tailored to client requirements. Your profound understanding of the local market, combined with your sales expertise and communication skills, will be pivotal in fostering Nuvei’s ongoing success in Italy.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Italian payments and fintech sectors.
  • Design and implement go-to-market strategies aimed at boosting revenue and market presence.
  • Establish and sustain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Negotiate and finalize commercial agreements, ensuring mutually advantageous outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams (product, marketing, legal, etc.) to deliver bespoke solutions for clients.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, competitor movements, and regulatory changes to inform business strategies.
  • Represent Nuvei at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to elevate brand visibility.
  • Regularly report on sales pipeline, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
