Role Overview
The Business Development Representative Associate joins either the Restaurant or Generalist team and helps build out Block’s Sales Development organization. This role centers on connecting with potential sellers and clearly communicating how Block’s products and services can benefit their business.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for potential Block merchants
- Learn about the unique needs of sellers and become knowledgeable about Block’s full product suite
- Reach out to prospects through outbound sales activities, including prospecting, email, and phone outreach
- Document and track qualified leads for the Account Executive team
- Apply a data-driven approach to improve sales effectiveness
