Role Overview: Business Development Representative
The Business Development Representative will play a key role in the global payments space. This position goes beyond lead generation, expect to work as a strategic partner with the Sales team. Using targeted outreach, AI-driven insights, and technical research, the goal is to connect with major brands and uncover new business opportunities that drive revenue.
Main Responsibilities
- Build strong knowledge of Checkout.com’s products and global payment trends to provide consultative guidance to potential clients.
- Research and identify strategic accounts, then engage with them directly.
- Lead discovery calls to understand both technical and business challenges merchants face.
- Maintain a consistent outreach schedule and contribute to a high-performance team culture.
- Work closely with Sales to move deals through the pipeline and support follow-up activities.
