About This Role

This position is a newly established role in business development, focused on outbound sales for Mid-Market and Enterprise segments.

Your main goal will be to build a robust pipeline by securing high-quality meetings with marketing and growth leaders from well-suited brands.

You will manage a specific territory of target accounts, with the opportunity to explore new accounts and generate fresh leads through highly personalized outreach strategies—encompassing tailored emails, individualized LinkedIn interactions, and assertive cold calling. We encourage imaginative, insight-driven outreach.

This position is not about high-volume, scripted prospecting. Our Business Development Representatives function as strategic sellers in the early stages, identifying brands actively engaged in influencer marketing and creator commerce, spotting avenues for scalability or performance enhancement, and initiating conversations through relevant, data-informed messaging.

Collaboration is key; you will work closely with Sales Directors and the wider Go-To-Market (GTM) organization to identify opportunities that align with Later's influencer campaign and creator commerce approach, including managed campaigns, annual programs, and performance-oriented solutions.

This role reports directly to the Director of Business Development within the Sales organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

Strategy & Territory Ownership

  • Develop and implement a focused outbound strategy within a designated Mid-Market or Enterprise territory.
  • Collaborate with an average of 2 Sales Directors, preparing for weekly meetings with detailed account notes.
