Your Role...

We are seeking a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our expanding teams. In this role, you will be responsible for outbound prospecting and supporting our field sales efforts. Your goal will be to generate new business opportunities through metric-driven prospecting and effective opportunity qualification. Strong business development and communication skills, along with a foundational understanding of technology infrastructure, are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and develop sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calls, and relationship building.

  • Clearly articulate and communicate ScienceLogic's value propositions.

  • Demonstrate exceptional tenacity and skill in handling objections.

  • Build and nurture relationships with prospects and partners in the IT Operations sector.

  • Utilize Salesforce.com diligently for lead management and development.

  • Exhibit lead generation expertise by identifying and cultivating new business prospects from various sources, including prospect lists, discovery, and individual research efforts.

  • Qualify leads effectively and facilitate a smooth transition to the sales team.
