Role Overview: Business Development Representative

This entry-level sales role is based in Amsterdam. It’s designed for people who want to build their commercial skills, learn effective prospecting, and grow into a successful sales career. The position offers practical experience, coaching, and access to AI-powered tools to help streamline daily work. Aquablu supports career progression into more senior commercial roles.

In this role, expect to connect directly with clients, set up meetings for channel partners across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland, and learn by doing. The environment is people-focused and encourages continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities

  • Run targeted outbound campaigns in the Dutch market using phone, email, LinkedIn, and social media.
  • Evaluate both inbound and outbound leads against ideal customer profile (ICP) criteria and book high-quality discovery meetings.
  • Work closely with account executives and channel managers to build strategies for key Dutch accounts.
  • Use data and CRM insights to prioritize outreach and track the health of the sales pipeline.
  • Share market feedback with marketing, product, and sales leadership teams.
  • Represent Aquablu at partner events and trade shows throughout the Netherlands.
  • Act as a cultural and linguistic bridge for Dutch prospects. Fluency in Dutch is required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Phone Skills: Comfortable with outreach and see rejection as motivation to improve.
  • Relevant Experience: Background in outbound sales, customer service, hospitality, or similar areas.
