Role Overview
Groupon connects millions of customers with local businesses, offering deals across categories like dining, wellness, and leisure. As a Business Development Representative, join the Germany Sales team to grow Groupon’s presence in Dortmund and the Ruhr metropolitan region, Germany’s largest economic hub.
This is a 100% remote field sales position. The focus is on expanding the marketplace by bringing new local merchants onto the platform. The role covers a wide range of sectors, including food and drink, health and beauty, wellness, leisure, and home services.
What You Will Do
- Identify and target potential local merchants in Dortmund and the Ruhr region
- Engage prospects through outbound outreach and face-to-face meetings
- Own the full sales cycle, from initial contact to onboarding new partners
- Develop consultative selling skills and manage your territory independently
- Work closely with your manager and experienced colleagues for support and guidance
Key Goal
Build a strong pipeline of new local merchants and onboard at least 3 quality partners each week who meet Groupon’s profitability standards. Your success directly supports marketplace growth in one of Germany’s most important economic regions.
