Role Overview
The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by generating high-quality opportunities through strategic, consultative outreach to healthcare decision-makers, B2B SaaS prospects, and enterprise clients. This role prioritizes quality over quantity, requiring curiosity, persistence, strategic acumen, and sound business judgment to forge impactful connections with decision-makers. You will engage in insightful discovery conversations that prompt prospects to view their challenges differently, while effectively positioning our innovative solutions. Spanning various sectors, including healthcare technology, AI/SaaS platforms, and B2B technology, you will take ownership of lead generation from initial research to the handoff of qualified meetings, ensuring a robust pipeline that directly impacts revenue targets.
Core Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Strategic Prospecting (30%)
- Identify and qualify potential clients through comprehensive research, strategic outbound calls, LinkedIn outreach, and targeted email campaigns.
- Conduct in-depth research on target organizations within healthcare, finance, logistics, and B2B SaaS sectors.
- Identify key decision-makers, navigate through gatekeepers, and adapt outreach strategies dynamically.
- Engage prospects with curiosity, asking insightful, consultative questions that inspire new ways of thinking.
- Utilize cutting-edge tools and techniques to optimize outreach efforts and improve engagement rates.
