The Role
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a key role in supporting our outbound sales teams through strategic prospecting and thorough account research. BDRs significantly contribute to our Sales Development Organization by generating millions of dollars in new business pipelines annually.
What You’ll Do
- Generate new business pipeline primarily through prospecting outbound opportunities.
- Nurture early-stage opportunities.
- Engage potential customers through outbound cold calling, targeting both existing BeyondTrust clients and new prospects in your assigned territory.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to identify and develop new pipeline opportunities through comprehensive research of business lines and key personas.
- Identify key decision-makers within new accounts.
- Create outstanding first impressions for prospects and customers by delivering a world-class experience.
- Maintain active engagement with both new and existing clients through creative follow-up communications designed to enhance interest in BeyondTrust.
- Meet monthly quotas for sourced qualified opportunities.
- Input prospect data into Salesforce.
- Expand your product knowledge by regularly attending training sessions.
- Assist with marketing campaigns and promotional offers to drive revenue optimization.
What You’ll Bring
- 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You think creatively and impress others with your unique perspectives and quality work.
- Experience in researching, account planning, prospecting, and cold calling within a diverse list of accounts, both new and existing.
- A proven track record of meeting sales metrics and consistently achieving year-over-year quota attainment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
