About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and personable Business Development Representative to foster and expand our merchant network throughout the Klang Valley. This is a dynamic, field-oriented position where you will be the face of HitPay, assisting local businesses in getting established, building confidence in using our platform, and achieving their goals.
What You'll Do
Identify and engage potential merchants within Selangor and Kuala Lumpur through field visits, networking events, and expos.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective merchants across the food and beverage, retail, and services sectors.
Represent HitPay at trade expos, bazaars, and industry events, generating leads and enhancing brand visibility.
Onboarding & Setup
Facilitate the sign-up and onboarding process for new merchants.
Perform on-site terminal installations and deliver hands-on product demonstrations.
Ensure merchants are confident and fully operational before transitioning them to the next phase.
Merchant Success & Retention
Act as the primary point of contact for merchant inquiries and troubleshooting.
Conduct regular check-ins to assess merchant satisfaction and product usage.
Escalate technical issues and collaborate with internal teams for swift resolution.
Market Intelligence
Collect insights on merchant needs, competitor activities, and market trends.
Provide feedback from merchants to enhance HitPay's products and processes.
