Position: Business Process Consultant
Contract Duration: 1-year contract with potential for renewal
Compensation: $75/hour

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or Information Systems.
- Certification in Process Improvement Methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) or Kaizen.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in IT, including at least four (4) years in process engineering and two (2) years in project management.
- Proficient in mapping business processes, identifying bottlenecks, and conducting inefficiency analyses.
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or other business process modeling software (e.g., BPMN tools like Bizagi or ARIS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive systems process analysis, design, and simulation of new processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Identify process gaps, establish performance measures, and transition program areas to optimized processes.
- Act as the technical expert for the program area, providing strategic guidance to leadership regarding future technology use and process enhancements.
- Ensure that solutions are aligned with both current objectives and future program goals.
- Assist in planning and prioritizing business process engineering efforts, integrating business unit goals with departmental objectives.
- Facilitate communication of defined processes and assist the department in understanding process flows throughout the project lifecycle.
