We are currently seeking a seasoned Buyer specializing in IT procurement. This pivotal role is essential for consolidating our supplier network and optimizing software, services, cloud, and other IT renewals and commitments, ensuring adherence to ION Group’s procurement standards.
Your Role:
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the procurement of supply contracts, collaborating closely with Purchasing Areas and the Legal Department;
· Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through expert negotiation and procurement strategies;
· Manage tenders and bid evaluations independently, ensuring quality and compliance;
· Stay informed on market trends and suppliers, conducting price benchmarking for cost efficiencies;
· Analyze existing and new costs, focusing on cost reduction and avoidance strategies;
