Qualifications:BEng/MEng/BSc/MSc degree in Electrical, Process Control, or a related engineering discipline. Demonstrated experience in calibration and process control engineering within manufacturing, automotive, or chemical process sectors. Strong comprehension of pneumatic and electro-mechanical instrumentation, encompassing weighing, flow, level, and temperature devices. Familiarity with analytical instruments and relevant international standards. Hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and process data tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Experience leading Continuous Improvement (CI) projects specific to calibrations and controls. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams to drive project completion. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a teamwork-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and uphold calibration systems and schedules in compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and IATF16949:2016 standards.
  • Oversee and perform the calibration of process instruments.
  • Analyze calibration data, detect discrepancies, and propose corrective measures or enhancements to processes.
  • Specify, procure, and validate new instrumentation and control equipment.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve calibration and process control challenges.
  • Support process automation systems, including Allen Bradley Logix, Siemens S7 PLCs, GE IFIX SCADA, and related HMIs.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of calibration tasks, reports, and modifications to control systems.
  • Provide training to operations and maintenance staff on calibration methods and control systems.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations in all calibration and control activities.
  • Monitor and assess emerging calibration technologies for potential integration.
