Join our dynamic team at gsstech-group as a Calypso Product Engineer, where you'll leverage your extensive expertise in treasury and capital markets systems. We are looking for a candidate with significant hands-on experience in Calypso architecture, APIs, and the trade lifecycle. Proficiency in Java programming and a solid understanding of Oracle databases are essential to thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and provide support for innovative solutions within the Calypso platform.
Collaborate closely with front office, middle office, and back office teams to effectively implement business requirements.
Customize and enhance Calypso modules, including Workstation, Pricing Sheets, and workflows.
Develop and integrate Calypso APIs and REST-based services.
Manage trade lifecycle processes, including trade capture, validation, settlement, accounting, and reporting.
Work on scheduled tasks, engines, and batch processing.
Engage in real-time integrations using FIX / Kafka.
Provide ongoing support for system enhancements, upgrades, and production issues.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with Calypso.
Strong understanding of Calypso architecture and APIs.
Proficient in Core Java development.
Good working knowledge of Oracle Database (SQL/PL-SQL).
Experience with REST API frameworks and integrations.
Strong grasp of the trade lifecycle in capital markets.
Experience with front office modules (Calypso Workstation, Pricing Sheets).

Domain Knowledge

Strong understanding of Equity products.
Good exposure to Treasury products, including:

FX / Money Markets (MM)
Bonds
Repo
Interest Rate Swaps (IRS)
Cross Currency Swaps (CCS)
