The Role
As a Cash Operations Associate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of our cash handling processes. This includes verifying and confirming delivery and payment evidence submitted by drivers, ensuring that all Cash on Demand (COD) and Must Pay Previous Balance (MPPB) orders are accurately documented, compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and prepared for subsequent processing. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining payment accuracy, visibility, and audit readiness across all operational hubs.
Responsibilities
Payment Confirmation & Evidence Review
- Examine delivery evidence from the previous day for all COD and MPPB orders to validate payment collection.
- Ensure all required documentation is complete, including:
- Signed delivery manifests
- Signed METRC documents (where applicable)
- Payment confirmation sheets
- Check images or ACH confirmations
- Capture payment evidence at the retailer location in line with SOP standards.
- Confirm delivery completion and payment status within internal systems.
- Supervise driver cash intake, payment bag verification, and chain-of-custody protocols.
Discrepancy Identification & Reporting
- Identify any missing, incomplete, or incorrect payment evidence.
- Document missing evidence or issues in the Driver Tracker Log.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the Cash Operations Senior Associate with comprehensive documentation.
- Provide notes and context to enhance visibility for Dispatch, Operations, and Accounting teams.
