Essential Responsibilities of the Registered Behavior Technician: Deliver direct client care in both individual and group settings utilizing a mix of intensive teaching and natural environment training. Implement behavior skill acquisition and behavior reduction strategies as laid out in individualized treatment plans developed by BCBA/BC. Collect, document, and analyze data on observable client behaviors. Support parent and caregiver training consistent with clients’ individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols. Ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation following established procedures. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as directed by BCBA/BC. Follow safe and appropriate procedures when interacting with clients, reporting incidents and safety concerns as necessary. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment. Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and conducting behavior assessments and skills acquisition.
