To succeed in this role, candidates should possess: A genuine passion for assisting children with autism Exceptional patience and compassion Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment Minimum age of 18 years High School Diploma or GED Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification, as well as undergo a Tuberculosis test (if not completed in the last year) Ability to pass a pre-employment background check Physical capability to perform various movements (sit, squat, bend, etc.) Capacity to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds

In this rewarding role, you will work individually with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include employing evidence-based strategies to enhance communication, social interactions, and essential daily living skills, while also addressing and reducing challenging behaviors.

Ideal candidates will possess patience, compassion, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Comprehensive training will be provided to empower you in your role, even if you lack prior experience. Please note that working with children can be unpredictable and sometimes confrontational, requiring resilience and physical stamina. This position involves a variety of physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, and occasionally lifting or carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
