Required Qualifications:Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or willingness to complete a 40-hour training course and pass the RBT competency exam within 45 days of employment. Must possess a High School Diploma or GED. Reliable transportation is necessary; proof of driver's license and valid car insurance may be required. Must be at least 18 years old. Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification along with a TB test if not conducted in the past year. Physical capability to perform job duties including lifting up to 50 lbs, getting down on the floor, and moving quickly when required for the safety of children.

About the Role

Life Skills Autism Academy, part of Centria Autism, is hiring a Center-Based Behavior Technician in Atlanta, Georgia. This role supports children on the autism spectrum through individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Work one-on-one with children, helping build communication, social, and school readiness skills. All sessions are supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who provides guidance and oversight.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver personalized ABA therapy to children in a center-based setting
  • Work directly with children to support their developmental progress
  • Follow treatment plans and strategies developed by a BCBA
  • Focus on building communication, social, and adaptive skills

Compensation

Pay range: $19 - $25 per hour
