Position Summary:

As a pivotal member of our team, the Central Scheduler plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient scheduling of services at Positive Development. This position demands an adept, detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted care environment, maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness in service delivery.

The Central Scheduler will be responsible for optimizing clinician and Child Developmental Specialist (CDS) schedules, ensuring continuity of services for families. This role involves proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders, while also upholding strong data integrity across scheduling systems.

With excellent time management, customer service, and problem-solving skills, the successful candidate will adeptly navigate dynamic staffing, capacity, and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling Operations & Service Coordination

- Facilitate precise and timely scheduling of clinicians and CDS providers to support ongoing services, evaluations, and reassessments.

- Comply with scheduling protocols and service delivery requirements, ensuring provider availability and session details are up-to-date.

- Efficiently respond to scheduling changes, cancellations, and urgent coverage needs to minimize service disruptions.

- Proactively identify scheduling gaps or conflicts and escalate as necessary.

Data Integrity & Workflow Management

- Ensure data accuracy within scheduling platforms and EMR systems through routine audits and reviews.

- Provide feedback for continuous improvement of workflows and operations.

Capacity & Utilization Support

- Align client needs with clinician availability, optimizing caseload distribution and productivity.

- Monitor utilization trends and staffing changes, addressing capacity constraints as needed.
