Proven experience as a Chef or Culinary Assistant. Strong understanding of kitchen procedures and food safety practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new culinary techniques.
The Chef is responsible for the preparation, cooking, and handling of food. They will be tasked with training and supervising kitchen assistants while adhering to all provincial health standards and company guidelines to ensure the safe delivery of the highest quality food possible.
An exceptional chef must be able to follow instructions to cook and present well-prepared meals. They should be adept at moving around the kitchen and capable of multitasking effectively. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also essential. The candidate must be willing to immigrate and work in Canada.
