We are looking for a talented and proactive Chief Accountant to become a vital part of our team in Kyiv, Ukraine. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all accounting, tax, and statutory reporting functions of Sika Ukraine, ensuring adherence to Ukrainian legislation as well as Sika Group policies and standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the company’s accounting system and ensuring precise recording of all transactions according to Ukrainian laws and Sika Group directives.
- Leading tax planning efforts and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and corporate guidelines.
- Collaborating with and supervising external accountants, auditors, and tax consultants.
- Coordinating the activities of the internal accounting team.
- Preparing and submitting all required reports to governmental bodies accurately and on time.
- Organizing and managing local mandatory audits.
- Coordinating the preparation of local transfer pricing documentation.
- Recording transactions to determine the cost of goods sold for imported products.
- Managing outgoing VAT invoices and reviewing incoming VAT invoices for accuracy.
- Reconciling accounts with suppliers and customers.
