ABOUT THE JOB
You will lead the technical development of large aircraft, guiding projects from initial concept through to detailed design, production, flight testing, and ongoing support. Your responsibilities will encompass vehicle layout, airframe and propulsion system design, guidance section development, and the integration of payload and datalink systems. These multifaceted projects will require you to apply your technical expertise and leadership skills to establish objectives, assemble teams, and drive projects to successful completion. You will need to apply your intuition and prior experiences to ensure that the design, analysis, and testing processes are effective and add value. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in executing and completing highly optimized multidisciplinary projects.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Collaborate closely with customers to develop an exportable Group 5 aircraft in the region, coordinating with Anduril Growth, Export Compliance, technical departments, and both U. S. and foreign suppliers and government experts.
- Engage deeply in the design process, understanding the aircraft intricately, and utilizing your knowledge of export regulations to shape technical development roadmaps, including scope, cost, and schedule for prototyping, testing, and manufacturing.
- Lead the technical and programmatic execution of new and existing air vehicle systems from design to fabrication and testing through to productization and support.
- Oversee the technical and programmatic success of your projects, establishing a clear vision and assembling teams of internal and external subject matter experts.
