Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Act as the primary experimental test pilot and manage the training and scheduling of all contract pilots. Ensure safety and success across all experimental flight operations. Collaborate with Reliable's Part 135 airline operations to standardize pilot procedures and help develop a comprehensive aviation safety system. Basic Success Criteria:FAA Commercial Pilot ASEL with a minimum of 1500 total flight hours, including 500 hours in fixed-wing aircraft, 500 hours in turbine engines, 500 hours cross-country, 100 hours night, and 75 hours of instrument flight. At least 20 flight hours in the past year in a similar category aircraft to the Caravan. Experience in tactical aircraft or similar operations that require a secondary skillset while piloting. Current Second Class FAA Medical Certificate or higher. A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in flight operations. At least 2 years of experience managing or performing a flight test program or in a leadership role in aviation. Preferred Criteria:Graduation from an SETP recognized flight test school. Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a science discipline, or equivalent industry experience, preferably with Caravan or PT6A. Diverse experience across multiple aircraft or airframes with at least 2 years as a CFI or military flight instructor. Proficiency with automated systems and experience in remote operations.
