Qualifications

Strong passion for supporting children with autism. Demonstrated patience, compassion, and teamwork ability. Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma or GED required. Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and undergo a tuberculosis test if not done in the past year. Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check. Physical ability to work in various positions (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.). Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

As a Behavior Technician, you will engage in one-on-one interactions with children, applying tailored behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will implement evidence-based approaches to foster communication, social skills, and daily living abilities while minimizing challenging behaviors.

We are looking for candidates who are genuinely committed to empowering children with autism to achieve their fullest potential. Ideal candidates should exhibit patience, compassion, and a collaborative spirit. Don’t worry if you’re new to the field; we provide extensive training to equip you with the necessary skills to support each child effectively. This role requires physical stamina, as children can be energetic, and you'll need to be comfortable with activities that include standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting children or items weighing up to 50 pounds.
