Qualifications

Genuine passion for assisting children with autism. Patience, compassion, and a collaborative spirit. Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma or GED required. Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification, and a Tuberculosis test (if needed). Successful completion of a pre-employment background check. Candidates must secure a Registered Behavior Technician Certification post-onboarding. Physical capability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.). Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

In this fulfilling role, you will work closely with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans guided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). With the utilization of evidence-based techniques, you will teach essential communication, social, and daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors.

We provide extensive training to equip you with the necessary skills, even if you lack prior experience. Expect an active work environment, as you may need to engage physically—standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting or carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
