Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with company representatives and governmental entities to initiate traffic and transportation safety enhancements in the Eastern Province. Serve as a technical leader overseeing various traffic safety engineering tasks, guiding and supporting junior engineers. Review and contribute to the development of project scopes for various studies, including Road Safety Audits and Traffic Impact Assessments. Assess designs and specifications for existing and proposed roadway schemes in compliance with industry standards. Draft correspondence, meeting notes, technical reports, and presentations. Facilitate the technical growth of the Traffic Safety Services Department by establishing training programs and effective knowledge-sharing practices. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. At least 10 years of experience in transportation planning and traffic engineering. Proficient in Highway Design, Transportation Planning, and Traffic Safety Studies. Familiarity with international standards such as AASHTO-Green Book, HCM, HSM, MUTCD, and related guidelines from ITE and FHWA. Professional certification is required (e.g., PE, PTOE, PTP, RoSPA, RSP). Expertise in traffic modeling software (e.g., VISSIM, SYNCHRO, HCS). Strong foundation in transportation engineering principles, policies, and standards. Proven experience in conducting traffic studies and designing signal plans. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
