About the job

Smarter Technologies seeks a Clinical Data Retrieval Analyst to manage medical record chart retrieval in support of risk adjustment and payment integrity programs. This remote position plays a key part in delivering accurate clinical data to stakeholders, helping the organization meet its service goals for members.

Supervisory Scope

This role does not include direct supervisory responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities

Monitor and process a daily queue of chart requests by accessing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to collect required clinical information for stakeholders.
Check that all retrieved documents meet quality standards, contain correct metadata, and are available for teams to use in member support.
Support the manager and internal teams with related tasks, such as requesting EHR access for colleagues, handling disenrollments from EHRs, and tracking progress toward completion targets.
Maintain professionalism and protect the privacy of individuals involved in requests, keeping all Protected Health Information (PHI) confidential and following HIPAA guidelines.
Carry out other assigned duties as needed.
