Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive Storage Area Network (SAN) architecture for a complex, geographically dispersed EMC-based SAN infrastructure, encompassing single servers to multi-tier, multi-platform solutions interconnected via fiber channel to multiple EMC Storage Arrays with extensive petabyte capacity.
- Devise strategies for SAN architecture addressing performance, capacity, replication, disaster recovery, and backup storage management.
- Establish a strategic direction for SAN and backup environments.
- Translate customer storage requirements into enterprise solutions, ensuring effective development, installation, configuration, and deployment within the environment.
- Oversee storage and backup capacity planning and utilization.
