The Cloud Database Support Engineer role involves tackling intricate technical issues for enterprise customers, often requiring a deep dive into database internals, memory management, Linux configuration, and SQL query optimization.
What you will do
- Deliver technical support to enterprise clients via email and live chat, handling complex problems, identifying bugs, and resolving outages.
- Reproduce customer-reported issues, document findings, and submit thorough bug reports or feature requests to engineering teams.
- Collaborate with software developers, sales engineers, and technical account managers to keep all stakeholders informed about ongoing customer issues.
- Guide customers to deepen their knowledge of SingleStore and general database operations.
Collaboration and growth
Support Engineers at SingleStore frequently expand their technical skills by adapting to new systems and technologies. The role involves researching unfamiliar tools and working with teams across development, query performance, product management, and infrastructure SRE. Curiosity and strong problem-solving abilities are essential, as each day brings new challenges.
Working hours
- 6 AM IST to 3 PM IST
- 2 PM IST to 11 PM IST
This position is based in India.
