We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to enhance our architecture design and operational processes. You will contribute to the creation of architecture design documents, operational handbooks, and runbooks to ensure seamless operational transparency and alignment across various teams. Your role will involve the development and automation of standard operating procedures to address common failure scenarios and manual operational tasks. As part of a dynamic scrum team, you'll collaborate with architects and product managers to deploy and support new infrastructure and operational requirements on Microsoft Azure.
In this role, you will build, manage, and maintain production systems using essential Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Azure Firewall, Azure Storage, Azure Functions, API Management, and Azure DNS, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Bicep. You will troubleshoot complex issues, coordinating with relevant resources to efficiently resolve incidents and minimize business impact.
Leverage your in-depth Azure expertise to plan and lead the deployment of reliable and secure cloud solutions using automated pipelines and best practices. You will also create proof of concept implementations to demonstrate solutions and share technical knowledge with team members. Collaborate with international cross-functional teams to foster knowledge sharing and collective success while applying your understanding of ITIL-based processes such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
Engage in the development of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions to enable automated deployments, testing, and continuous delivery. Work closely with architects and application engineers to ensure applications are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards for high availability and disaster recovery.
