Key Responsibilities:Guaranteeing optimal uptime for our global infrastructure. Automating workflows and developing tools to enhance operational efficiency. Facilitating collaborative operational efforts across teams to enhance the platform with minimal disruption. Your Contributions to DigitalOcean:Extensive experience with Linux operating systems or Networking and daily maintenance. Understanding of virtualization technologies and troubleshooting virtual machine instances. Familiarity with containerization technologies and debugging containers. Knowledge of IPv4 Networking and troubleshooting (equivalent to CCNA). Basic understanding of storage concepts and technologies. Experience with monitoring systems and incident management. Proficiency in scripting using one or more languages: Bash, Python, or Go. Experience with GPU hardware or AI/ML, and Kubernetes. A commitment to clear documentation and open communication. A proven capability to learn new concepts quickly!

We are in search of an experienced Cloud Operations Administrator to ensure our cloud services operate seamlessly. Reporting directly to the Cloud Operations manager, you will serve as the first line of defense for monitoring and addressing cloud health concerns that may affect customer experiences—both internally and externally. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to investigate and resolve issues affecting everything from individual droplets to widespread cloud disturbances. Our workweek consists of five days, which may include weekend responsibilities.
