Role overview

This Cloud Platform Engineer position is based in Boston and sits within the Civil Aviation team. The focus is on designing, maintaining, and improving cloud infrastructure that supports live aviation systems. Hands-on work with production environments is central to the role, emphasizing scalability, resilience, and continuous deployment.

Core responsibilities include developing and enhancing infrastructure, using infrastructure-as-code, managing Kubernetes-based systems, and contributing to deployment pipelines to enable rapid and secure releases. The work has a direct impact on system reliability and performance, supporting 24/7 operations where uptime is critical.

Collaboration and impact

Close collaboration with backend, product, and platform engineers is expected. The role involves deploying services, improving observability, and addressing production issues.
