Your Role
We are on the lookout for a dynamic Cloud Platform Team Lead who will oversee the development and management of the infrastructure and platform systems that are essential to our engineering efforts.
In this pivotal position, you will lead a team of Cloud Platform, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineers, ensuring effective execution while actively participating in architecture and system design. Your mission will be to create and uphold a reliable, scalable platform that empowers engineering teams to deploy, operate, and expand mission-critical applications.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where you will guide your team, set strategic direction, and contribute to platform development.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Execution
Oversee daily operations of the Cloud Platform team.
Establish priorities, remove obstacles for engineers, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Offer mentorship through code reviews, design discussions, and technical insights.
Collaborate with leadership to align platform objectives with company strategies.
Platform and Infrastructure Engineering
Design, develop, and maintain essential cloud infrastructure and platform services.
Support containerized environments utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
Ensure infrastructure is dependable, scalable, and secure.
Engage hands-on in system design and implementation tasks.
DevOps and Reliability
Enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Support the adoption of Site Reliability Engineering practices, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
Help establish and maintain observability across services and systems.
Minimize operational burden through automation and tooling initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with engineering teams to foster collaboration and innovation.
