iCapital Network is seeking a dedicated Assistant Vice President of Cloud Security Engineering to enhance our Information Security team. In this pivotal role, you will develop and oversee cloud security initiatives, architect innovative security solutions, automate processes, and proactively identify vulnerabilities within iCapital's technology landscape. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a blend of research, design, and implementation skills in security technologies, capable of leading small engineering teams while fostering cross-departmental collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive Cloud Security Programs for AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring continuous monitoring and mitigation of vulnerabilities in our cloud infrastructure.
- Implement solutions to rectify security misconfigurations.
- Work closely with the DevOps team to innovate processes, adopt best practices, and uphold technology standards.
- Create automation tools for monitoring and alerting on AWS infrastructure maintenance.
- Enhance, develop, and rigorously test new cloud infrastructure capabilities for secure functionality.
- Establish processes and automation for application code security assessments, workflows, and testing in collaboration with development teams.
- Support the Security Operations Center (SOC) in developing detection and alert mechanisms.
- Formulate workflows for SaaS security programs.
- Collaborate with Risk and Governance teams to develop policies, procedures, and standards.
- Engage with cross-functional teams, including DevOps and Security Engineering, to deliver on security initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in cloud environments, with a strong preference for AWS.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certifications highly desirable.
- A commitment to staying updated with the latest trends in cloud security, emerging threats, and evolving technologies.
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code or systems engineering, as well as scripting proficiency.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential.
- Able to influence and engage stakeholders effectively.
- Proven ability to drive projects to completion.
This role is fully remote, although some positions may require in-office attendance based on departmental needs.
